Valentine’s Postcards

January 28, 2013

Just a quick little post to tell you that the Valentine’s postcards I designed just arrived in our Etsy shop. They are pretty pink and gray, made from  dainty, glossy cardstock. A set of 8 is $2.50. I hope they’ll help you spread cheer to your friends and loved ones!

Don’t forget though- postage prices went up yesterday. So if you have 32-cent postcards stamps tucked away, you’ll need to add 1-cent stamps to them to bring them up to the new 33-cent rate. Gee, now that I mention it, I hope I have enough 1-cent stamps in my drawer…

I’ve always loved sending old-fashioned paper Valentines in the mail. I hope you find some sweet and simple greetings that you enjoy this year!

i love the scroll work.

i also like seeing how i am beginning to understand your style.
understand is not the right word : i like observing the revelation of your style.
hhmmm, i can’t think of a clear way to say what i mean.

thanks for the postage heads up too.

Oh my gosh, that is such a nice thing to say! I feel like I am in the phase of finding (and really just hoping to find) my own style right now, so it means so much for you to say that you can see glimmers of it taking shape. That is really a huge and very thoughtful and meaningful compliment. :) You also have great style, so I am thrilled you like the looks of these!

You’re welcome for the postage heads up; I myself still had an entire sheet of 29-cent postcard stamps, so I was behind the times by 4 entire cents and had to buy a sheet of stamps depicting chairs to make up that gap. Not that I mind the chairs, I love interesting stamps, just that it is not like me to get 4 cents behind! :)
